This is inexcusable that there was no LE to assist in this crash. In my 28 yrs OTJ we have reaponded to every crash and if by chance we were tied up a neighboring PD was immediately dispatched. EMS should never have to deal with this bullshit. EVER! What if there was a weapon involved?

😂Unsat ass cops 👮‍♂️ 👮‍♀️, not one officer had the bean bag shotgun?? Now a innocent person is hurt and someone is dead bcuz they dont know what they are doing. They couldve shot him earlier with bean bags right after the taser didnt work but not one officer thought ahead to do so. Officers also know that tasers usually dont work on the mentally ill the same as a sane person so the bean bag shouldve been nearby. (How do you know the suspect was mental? The area and the call. Normal theives dont flash a knive to get a bag of chips and a drink. The area is known to be problematic from patients of the mental hospital nearby) Their compliancy created a bigger situation which lead to some innocent person being stabbed and the suspect being killed. 😢 all bcuz of what??!? A bunch of cops that were eager to be lazy and complacent? They were planning to shoot the entire time bcuz they kept talking about lines of fire, where was the communication for the bean bag shotgun or another less than lethal device to be deployed?? Heck, even k9 couldve ended this quickly. SDPD you need to clean house. 😂
